The beginning. RecFest was an event that broke the mould of beige conference rooms, shirts and ties, and tired regurgitated content.

200 people braved the journey into London on the day of the largest travel strike the UK had ever seen! Undaunted, our attendees shared cabs, and jumped on ‘Boris-bikes’ and rickshaws to get there! Attendees were not disappointed, celebrating a great day of insights, hearing great speakers and networking late into the night on the banks of London’s river.

Big tops and big ideas! RecFest, for the first time, realised its lifelong ambition of becoming a FULL festival! With 5 huge stages accommodating 3,000 people across 2 fields in the south of London, RecFest 2019 announced itself as the biggest and most adored event for TA on the planet.

In the midst of the pandemic, RecFest went online due to the Global Pandemic. We continued in our ambition to support the TA community and to celebrate the important work TA professionals carry out every day. RecFest 2020 will always be a standout event not only for being online, but for welcoming RecFesters from 75 countries from around the world.

An epic first reunion of the TA industry. We witnessed friends and colleagues, both old and new, reconnecting in the glorious Margate sunshine which made it a truly incredible event and one for the books, taking place twice in 2021.

With 10 stages, over 100 speakers and 4,000 attendees, it was the biggest RecFest yet! Tickets completely sold out with attendees from across the globe, all coming together to celebrate the global TA community. Ending the day with an iconic after-party, RecFest 2022 truly felt like a well-deserved celebration and was recognised by Exhibition News as the Disruptor of the Year 2022.

UK: The Sold-Out Festival
RecFest UK achieved a huge sell-out, welcoming more attendees than ever before. We featured an even greater number of stages, showcasing diverse content, and hosted over 100 dedicated exhibitors. The day culminated in an incredible, unforgettable afterparty with a headline DJ set from Reggie Yates.

USA: Doubling Down
Building on its debut, RecFest USA demonstrated incredible growth in its second year, expanding to 4 content stages and welcoming 1,500 delegates across the two days, solidifying its position as a major event for the US TA & HR community.

Venue: Bicentennial Park

The UK event continues its evolution, announcing headline speakers including Katie Piper and Rory Sutherland. We introduced the exclusive VIP Area, featuring private entertainment, bespoke content, and a celebrity DJ set from Marvin Humes. The night promised to be the most spectacular yet, with an unforgettable afterparty featuring two legendary acts: Noasis and DJ Luck & MC Neat, celebrating our growing, vibrant community.

Due to rapid growth and scale, RecFest USA moved to a new, larger venue to accommodate its expansion. The event spanned 2 days and welcomed 2,500 delegates. Headline speakers from major organizations like Ford and Sam’s Club were speaking, alongside more exhibitors than seen before, confirming the USA’s thirst for the unique RecFest experience.
