All attendees registering to attend RecFest UK have agreed to the following statement, when completing their registration.
By registering for this event, you may receive information on related events and services from RecFest in accordance with our privacy policy.

Badge scanning policy
By allowing your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor or sponsor, you are giving your consent direct to them to process your data and you agree to share your name and contact information, provided during this registration process for them to follow up with post-event information and marketing material. If you do not wish to share your data, you should refrain from having your badge scanned by exhibitors or sponsors.
Your badge will be scanned at the main entrance to the event upon your arrival. This is for analytical and health and safety purposes only and no data is transferred to any other parties. Post-event this data is anonymised and used to develop future event programmes. We process this in line with our data retention policy.

As outlined in our T&C’s RecFest utilises RFID technology. When you attend a sponsored workshop or talk or visit a sponsor who has opted to use RFID, your visit is tracked by RFID and your data is passed to the sponsor. If in this instance you do not wish your data to be passed to the sponsor or speaker sponsor please let us know by emailing dataprotection@
