We’re delighted to announce that joining this year’s RecFest line-up is none other than Rebecca Adlington. She is a woman who needs no introduction, but we’re going ahead and giving her one anyway!
Rebecca Adlington OBE, is a British former competitive swimmer who specialised in freestyle events at the international level. She’s won multiple medals at Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European levels, including two-golds at the 2008 Summer Olympics, breaking a record held for 19 years.
Rebecca will take to the Resourcing Leaders Stage, within the Leadership Zone where she will talk through the defining moments of her career that shaped her. From a young swimmer, to Olympic Champion, life after retirement, raising a family as well as running her own business.
Rebecca will also discuss how teamwork and the people around her have impacted her success in and out of the pool along with the obstacles she overcame.
