RecFest UK 2025 is proud to announce its official charity partner: SPACE Hertfordshire, an award-winning organisation supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and their families.

This partnership marks a powerful alignment between RecFest’s mission to lead DE& I progress within Talent Acquisition and SPACE’s commitment to building inclusive futures – starting from childhood.

Neurodiversity is no longer a peripheral conversation in talent; it is central to how organisations build resilient, innovative, and representative workforces. As recruiters and HR professionals increasingly lead the charge in fostering inclusive hiring practices and workplace cultures, understanding and embracing neurodiversity is critical.

Through this partnership, RecFest UK 2025 affirms that creating accessible hiring experiences and inclusive environments begins with awareness, empathy, and practical change – not just in the workplace, but within the wider community that shapes future talent.

SPACE Hertfordshire works with over 10,000 families of children and young people with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent conditions in the county of Hertfordshire – the home of RecFest UK. They provide hands-on family support, inclusive events, and specialist training – including Neurodiversity in the Workplace sessions that are transforming how organisations think about inclusion.

This collaboration champions a future where today’s neurodivergent children are tomorrow’s confident, supported professionals. By working with SPACE, RecFest is not only spotlighting an incredible charity but also highlighting the responsibility of the TA and HR community to build the inclusive workplaces these individuals deserve.

“Neurodiversity has become a defining topic for the future of talent. Our partnership with SPACE Hertfordshire reflects our belief that inclusion must start early – by supporting neurodivergent children today, we’re investing in the thriving, diverse workforce of tomorrow. We’re proud to be amplifying this mission through RecFest UK 2025.”
Jamie Leonard, CEO, The Recruitment Events Co.

Together, RecFest and SPACE Hertfordshire are starting a vital conversation about inclusion – not just for today’s workplaces, but for the future of talent itself.

“We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with RecFest UK 2025 to raise awareness of neurodiversity and the importance of inclusion across every stage of life. The children and young people we support today are the future of the workforce, and it’s essential that the organisations they’ll enter are ready to embrace their strengths. This partnership sends a powerful message – that neurodivergent individuals are not only welcome, but vital to building truly inclusive, forward-thinking workplaces.”
Karen Spencer, CEO, SPACE Hertfordshire
