General Information

Attending both days is not mandatory but we highly recommend attending both days in order to make the most out of your ticket. There will be different content and Speakers on both days.

There are a few options close to the venue, however we recommend booking a room well in advance as rooms will be in high demand. Some of the closest: 

ADMIRAL HARDY ★★★★: Is an 18 minute walk to Mudchute Park (or 15 minutes by DLR).

TOP NIGHT HOTEL ★★★: Is only a 12 minute walk to Mudchute Park.

LINCOLN PLAZA LONDON, CURIO COLLECTION BY HILTON ★★★★:  Is a 15 minute walk from Mudchute Park.

HILTON LONDON CANARY WHARF ★★★★: Is a 20 minute walk to the event venue.

NOVOTEL LONDON CANARY WHARF ★★★★: Is a 21 minute walk to Mudchute Park.
BRITANNIA INTERNATIONAL HOTEL ★★★★: Is a 22 minute walk to Mudchute Park

If you can’t attend day 2, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague to take your place. Please see below on how to transfer your ticket. If you would like to give your day-2 ticket to someone, see how to here.

Yes, the event has accessibility entrance, toilets and easy access between the paddocks.

Your checklist for RecFest:

  • Your ticket (digital or print)
  • A reusable water bottle – we are aiming to minimise our plastic & carbon footprint even further than last year, so please help us to achieve this
  • A notebook & pen – there will be loads of content you’ll want to take back!
  • Suncream, sunnies and maybe a hat or your flip flops
  • An umbrella? 
  • Your ID. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, you might be asked for ID.
  • Comfy clothes!

Day 1 remains the same RecFest as in past years and will be seeing five stages of learning, over 100 Speakers covering a huge plethora of subjects, as well as dozens of experiential activities, street food, networking drinks and RecFestRocks.

Day 2 offers something different, with a sharp focus on 5 core subjects. Each stage becomes a zone specific to that subject, including:- the Brand & Experience Zone, the Leadership Zone, the Start-up Zone, the DBR Zone, and the Early Career Zone. Ideal for people with a specific focus, to spend time with others in the same role learning together.

The dress code is casual! RecFest is an outdoor recruitment festival so check the weather the day before and wear what you would to an outdoor festival. Check out last year’s photos here to see what others wore to RecFest.

We recommend arriving between 8 and 8:30 AM in order to check-in on time and enjoy some breakfast before the first talk starts.

We recommend using public transport. You can hop on the DLR towards Mudchute or Crossharbour; or grab a bus (D3 or D7) towards Pier Street.

If coming by car, you will need to access the venue by Pier Street (there is no parking on-site).

RecFest 2020 will take place on July 9th and 10th 2020, at Mudchute Park in London.

Yes, you do need a ticket to attend RecFest.

Head to recfest.com and fill in the pre-registration form letting us know how many tickets you would like. You will then receive an email from matt@recruitmentevents.co with the following steps to secure your ticket.

If you would like to bring your team to Recfest, you could be entitled to a special team discount! Head to recfest.com, fill in the pre-registration form, let us know how many people you would like to bring, and then Matt Jones will be in contact with a special offer just for you!

Tickets for RecFest cost £350 at full price. There will be Super-Early bird tickets available for £200 until the end of December, and Early Bird tickets for £250 until the end of March. If you are coming as a team, you could be entitled to a special team discount.

Your ticket includes:

  • 2-day access to all the stages, zones, activities, and experiences.
  • Complimentary breakfast, lunch and drink tokens for Day 1
  • Insight from over 200 world-class Speakers, and access to all Speaker videos, decks, and whitepapers
  • Ticket Swap Scheme (use your ticket on Day 1, then pass it on to a company colleague for Day 2 – at no extra charge)
  • Use of RecFest Connect, the wearable event technology that supercharges your event experience
  • Access to RecFestRocks After–Party (Thursday evening)

If you can no longer attend, you can give your ticket to a colleague. See how to transfer your ticket to a colleague here.

If you do not want to give your ticket to a colleague, please let us know that you can no longer make it and we will donate your ticket to a Charity.

At the event

You can record videos and produce your own content at RecFest. However, you must let us know that you plan on doing so and accept our recording policy

No, there is no cloakroom at RecFest so please don’t bring anything you don’t want to carry around all day, or anything valuable.

Yes there will be!

On day 1, your ticket includes a complimentary breakfast, lunch and drinks. There will also be additional food to purchase in the evening, and a bar.

On day 2, there will be food and drinks available to purchase.

No, there is no free wi-fi at RecFest as it’s hosted in an open field.
