RecFest will be held in the iconic Knebworth Park, renowned worldwide for its rock gigs which have hosted the likes of Queen, Oasis and The Rolling Stones, we thought Knebworth would be the perfect venue for our industry’s own hard working rock stars.

How to get to Knebworth Park
Car
Knebworth Park can be accessed directly from the Junction 7 roundabout of the A1(M) motorway at Stevenage South, 29 miles north of London. There are signs on both carriageways of the motorway.
If you are using a Sat Nav system use the postcode of the Stevenage Novotel at Junction 7 – SG1 2AX – not the Knebworth House postcode.

Train
The nearest rail station is Stevenage, two miles from Knebworth Park. Trains run to Stevenage Station from London’s Kings Cross and St Pancras Station around every 15 minutes.
At the exit barriers at Stevenage Station, turn right, and you will see dedicated staff at Stevenage Station to guide RecFest attendees to the shuttle bus pick up point.

Shuttle Service
There will be organised shuttles from 07:30am to 9:00pm on a loop between the RecFest Venue and Stevenage Station. We have multiple shuttles, so we do not anticipate the wait time to be very long.
At the exit barriers at Stevenage Station, turn right – you’ll see staff at Stevenage Station to guide RecFest attendees to the coach pick up point.
Our Shuttle Service is free to use, and available to all attendees.

Venue & Travel
Free Shuttle Service from Stevenage Station
To make your journey easier, we provide a free shuttle service for all attendees travelling via Stevenage Station.
Shuttles will run on a continuous loop between the station and the RecFest entrance throughout the day.

- Last return shuttle: 21:15
- Drop-off/pick-up: Right by the station exit, and event entrance for easy access.

The last Shuttle off site will be at 9.15pm.
Keep an eye out for signs at Stevenage Station.
No booking required, just hop on and go! Whilst you’re travelling, be sure to have the App ready with your ticket, for quick access into the event.
Alternative travel routes
St Pancras is directly next to King’s Cross (5-minute indoor walk).
Some Thameslink services to Stevenage depart from St Pancras.
Journey time: 30 minutes.
Check: National Rail or Thameslink for redirected services.
Finsbury Park: Accessible via Victoria or Piccadilly line.
Moorgate: Accessible via Northern, Circle, Hammersmith & City, or Metropolitan lines.
From either, take a Great Northern train to Stevenage.
Journey time: 30-40 minutes.
Check: National Rail or Thameslink for redirected services.
If the entire rail route is suspended, check for rail replacement bus services.
These usually run from King’s Cross, Finsbury Park, or Alexandra Palace to Stevenage or nearby towns. 4. Taxi or Rideshare
From King’s Cross to Stevenage by taxi: approx. 45 mins – 1 hour, cost: £70–£100+ depending on traffic.

If you require disabled parking, simply speak to our traffic management team upon arrival and they’ll direct you to the reserved accessible spaces.
Are there places to stay near RecFest UK?
Yes — there are several hotels and accommodation options in and around Stevenage, just a short distance from Knebworth Park.
However, please be aware that local hotels do book up quickly around the event, so we recommend securing your accommodation as early as possible.
