This ongoing partnership reflects a shared commitment to building more inclusive communities, both within the workplace and beyond. At the heart of SPACE Hertfordshire is a simple but powerful belief: no family should feel alone.

Supporting over 11,000 families of neurodivergent children and young people across Hertfordshire, SPACE provides vital services for those navigating autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other conditions. From the earliest stages of concern through to diagnosis and beyond, the organisation offers one-to-one family support, free training and workshops, events, activities, and access to its dedicated community hub, Lending SPACE.

The impact of their work over the past year alone has been remarkable. SPACE delivered more than 4,350 one-to-one support appointments, ran 321 activities for children and young people, and reached over 9,000 attendees through workshops and courses. Their thriving online community continues to grow, connecting more than 11,000 families who rely on shared experience, guidance and support.

Everything SPACE does is shaped by lived experience – creating safe, understanding environments where families feel heard, supported and less isolated.

Alongside their family-focused services, SPACE Hertfordshire is also helping organisations take meaningful steps toward neuro-inclusion through its Neurodiversity in the Workplace training. Designed for organisations of all sizes, this training empowers teams with practical tools, expert insight and real-world perspective to create environments where neurodivergent employees can truly thrive.

Rather than viewing neurodiversity as something to accommodate, SPACE champions it as something to recognise, value and celebrate. Their approach supports leaders, managers and employees alike, whether they are shaping strategy, managing teams, or just beginning their inclusion journey.

By continuing our partnership with SPACE Hertfordshire, RecFest UK reinforces its commitment to driving positive change across both the talent and wider community landscape.

Together, we look forward to raising awareness, championing inclusion, and supporting even more families in the year ahead. 🩵
